Community Sauna Sessions

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Sauna Temp: Our wood fired sauna sits at around 90 degrees Celsius

Session length: around 60–90 minutes depending on the type

Cold plunge or sea swim available at most locations

Cubbies outside the sauna can keep your belongings dry

Many people leave feeling calmer, lighter, and deeply relaxed - a natural effect of the heat and restorative time in the sauna.

SAUNA GUIDELINES & ETIQUETTE

Please be respectful of the space and each other.

Keep the sauna warm by closing the door promptly behind you and avoid lingering when entering or exiting.

Gentle conversation is welcome (unless it’s a silent session) - keep voices soft so everyone can relax.

Sit on your towel for comfort and hygiene. Towels aren’t for saving spots, so take yours with you when leaving so everyone can share the space.

Listen to your body: Rest, hydrate, and step out whenever you need.

Unless booking a private family session, children under 12 aren’t allowed in the sauna, and those under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We love being family-friendly, so if your child is waiting nearby, please help them be respectful to those enjoying the sauna.

Remove jewellery, glasses, or anything that may heat up - the sauna can sometimes damage items like coated glasses. Anything you bring is your responsibility.

Water on the rocks is added by the host only.

Rinse feet in bucket provided before entering

WHAT TO BRING:

Towel - one to sit on in the sauna (required), and a second if you'd like to dry off or swim afterward

Water bottle - hydration is essential (no plastics in the sauna please)

Swimwear or light clothing - something you’re comfortable sweating in

Warm layers - for afterward when your body starts to cool down

Easy footwear if desired for walks on beach to water
